Condition analysis with physical and optical vibration measurement
VENTAIX GmbH offers comprehensive condition analysis and troubleshooting for machines and systems. We use both physical and state-of-the-art optical vibration measurement methods.
With physical vibration measurement, we take readings directly on the component and make precise statements about mechanical conditions such as imbalances, bearing faults, alignment problems, or complex fault patterns in connection with the operating parameters.
In addition, we use innovative methods for optical vibration measurement with camera systems and Motion Amplification® technology. This non-contact method makes even the smallest movements visible and allows measurements to be taken from a holistic perspective, even on components that are difficult to access or sensitive – without sensor installation or system downtime.
By combining both methods, we provide a comprehensive and meaningful condition assessment. In this way, we help you to detect wear at an early stage, minimize downtime, and extend the service life of your equipment in the long term.
The expertise of our engineering office means you can trust our professional vibration analyses to be precisely tailored to your individual requirements.
Physical Vibration Measurement Technology
Physical vibration measurement enables precise monitoring of machine condition by directly recording vibrations at bearings, shafts, and components. This allows damage to be detected at an early stage to avoid costly failures.
The measurement results are evaluated in accordance with current international standards, which specify clear limit values and criteria for different types of machines. For example, DIN ISO 10816 and DIN ISO 20816 are used in industry to evaluate vibrations in pumps, motors, and other machines. In pipeline construction, the VDI guideline VDI 3842 is used, among others, which defines specific requirements for the vibration assessment of pipeline systems.
By applying the current standards, you obtain reliable and traceable results that provide you with a sound condition assessment and documentation basis.
The advantages for your company:
- Early detection of damage
- Reduced downtime
- Cost savings through predictable maintenance
- Longer service life of machines and systems
- Increased operational safety
- Optimization of processes and designs
We offer customized solutions for vibration measurement and machine diagnostics—technically sound, reliable, and compliant with standards. This ensures the long-term efficient and economical operation of your systems.
Optical Vibration Measurement with Motion Amplification® from RDI
Modern optical vibration measurement with the RDI camera system is revolutionizing the condition monitoring of machines and systems. With the patented Motion Amplification® technology, even movements and vibrations invisible to the human eye become visible and are precisely quantified. This process is completely contactless and doesn't interfere with the object being measured.
The RDI camera system uses high-speed cameras and intelligent software that utilizes every pixel as a sensor. This generates millions of measurement data points in real time, providing in-depth insights into vibration phenomena such as imbalances, structural weaknesses, resonances, or shaft deflections.
We base our evaluation and documentation of the measurement results on common standards for vibration measurement in industry. These ensure reliable and traceable interpretations of the measurement data. In this way, we guarantee you meaningful results and well-founded diagnoses through Motion Amplification®.
In addition to contactless measurement, the key advantage of Motion Amplification® lies in the visual presentation of movement patterns. This greatly facilitates the communication of technical findings and allows measurements to be taken on components that are difficult to access or sensitive, without production downtime or disassembly.
The RDI system ideally complements classic sensor methods and offers innovative possibilities for fault diagnosis, preventive maintenance, and efficiency improvement in industry.
We offer customized service assignments for diagnosing vibrations in your components and machines. Our measurement technicians are also certified for offshore use, among other things.
