Condition Analysis with Contact and Optical Vibration Measurement
VENTAIX offers condition analyses of machines and systems using contact and optical vibration measurement. Contact measurement records vibrations directly at the component, while the non-contact Motion Amplification® technology from RDI makes the smallest movements visible - even on components that are difficult to access, without shutting down the installation.
VENTAIX GmbH offers comprehensive condition analyses and troubleshooting of machines and systems, using both contact and state-of-the-art optical vibration measurement techniques. By combining the two methods, we deliver a comprehensive and meaningful assessment of condition. In this way we help you to detect wear at an early stage, minimise downtime and sustainably extend the service life of your machines and systems.
Non-Contact Vibration Measurement with Motion Amplification® from RDI
Modern optical vibration measurement with the RDI camera system is revolutionising the condition monitoring of machines and systems. Using the patented Motion Amplification® technology, the smallest movements and vibrations – invisible to the human eye – are made visible and precisely quantified, entirely without contact and without interfering with the object being measured.
The RDI camera system uses high-speed cameras and intelligent software that turns every pixel into a sensor. This generates millions of measurement data points in real time, providing in-depth insights into vibration phenomena such as imbalances, structural weaknesses, resonances or shaft deflections.
For evaluating and documenting the measurement results, we follow the common standards for vibration measurement in industry. These ensure a reliable and traceable interpretation of the measurement data, so that we can provide you with meaningful results and well-founded diagnoses through Motion Amplification®.
Besides the non-contact measurement, the major advantage of Motion Amplification® lies above all in the visual presentation of the movement patterns. This considerably simplifies the communication of technical findings and also allows measurements on components that are difficult to access or sensitive, without production downtime or installation effort.
The RDI system is an ideal complement to conventional sensor-based methods and offers innovative possibilities for fault diagnosis, preventive maintenance and efficiency improvement in industry.
We offer tailor-made service assignments for diagnosing vibrations on your components and machines. Our measurement technicians are certified for offshore assignments among others.

Contact Vibration Measurement for Machines and Systems
Contact vibration measurement enables precise monitoring of machine condition by recording vibrations directly at bearing positions, shafts and components. This makes it possible to detect damage at an early stage and to avoid costly failures.
The measurement results are evaluated in accordance with common international standards, which specify clear limit values and criteria for different machine types. For assessing vibrations on pumps, motors and other machines, industry applies DIN ISO 10816 and DIN ISO 20816, for example. In pipework construction, the VDI guideline VDI 3842 is used among others, defining specific requirements for the vibration assessment of pipework systems.
Applying these established standards gives you reliable and traceable results, providing a sound basis for condition assessment and documentation.
